Private OpenSim Regions
Why an OpenSim standalone region?
OpenSim standalone regions are independent tiny virtual worlds ("mini grids") running on a single OpenSim process. Up to 4 regions can be installed, although for optimum stability it is recommended, to just run one region on a single OpenSim process.
Standalone regions offer maximum privacy. Because they do not depend on any grid services, a standalone region can be used even if other grids are down. Anyway you can travel to other places and welcome guests using HyperGrid.
Alternatively you can also rent an OpenSim region in OSGrid or you can start your own, independent virtual world (grid). If you have questions about our OpenSim hosting services, simply contact us.
